Anequim is a remote professional services provider that connects small to mid-size businesses in the US and Canada with highly skilled, full-time, bilingual virtual assistants (VAs) who are based in Mexico. Founded in 2016 from the successful hiring experience of a property management company, Anequim manages the entire process for the client: recruitment, robust onboarding, continuous learning and development, and compensation. Their VAs provide support across various functions, including administrative, accounting, marketing, customer service, and specialized support for property management and medical back-office operations. Anequim's mission is to drive client profitability while creating amazing careers for its remote professionals.

Buena pero…
Pros: Todo iba bien, empecé como customer service para después subir a assistant manager y por último community manager, al final lendspidoeron sin justificación, me dijeron que me asignarían a otro cliente solo para hacerme firmar mi renuncia voluntaria y nunca pasó | Cons: No te pagan más y si lo pides te corren

Pros: No hay ninguna ventaja, te desechan como si nada. | Cons: 🚨🚨 DO NOT APPLY HERE 🚨🚨 If you take ANY advice they give you while you are with your current project, they will fire you and disguise it as you are “resigning”. My “advocate” ignored any comments I made, my emails went unanswered, HR never got back in touch with me despite also sending them several emails, and another person from the ADVOCATE team also ignored all my emails. And don’t even get me started on the COO, José Delgado. He responded to one email and then I never heard from him again. They gave me my “Finiquito” and removed all access to my account. I called to ask what was going on, and they told me they couldn’t guarantee me another job and that I could look elsewhere. Other coworkers who were also with Anequim didn’t go through this same process. It’s really disappointing when you make a decision THEY THEMSELVES gave you — and then they toss you aside like it’s nothing. IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN WITH ANEQUIM, THEY WILL TOSS YOU ASIDE LIKE IT IS NOTHING AND LEAVE YOU BE.

Careful. Sketchy company. Deceiving management
Pros: Sonaba como buena opción al inicio como mi primer trabajo de forma remota, pero estoy súper arrepentida | Cons: Yo les recomendaría considerar otra opción, al final si pones este empleo vs otro en la balanza, este es de las peores opciones. Sketchy hiring process. Deceiving management practices. A company with no values and no interest whatsoever for the people that works there.

Comfort Zone - not goof if you want growth
Pros: Payment on time, job security, experience with companies based in the US - overall, a good place to work, benefits based on Mexican labor laws. | Cons: Salaries are not competitive and depend on your client. They often sell you for "less" as a virtual professional, resulting in numerous communication issues within the client management team and the rest of the organization, and benefits allow for more to be desired.
