Organized Company, Nice Perks & Reasonable Expectations

Pros: It was a pretty straightforward and transparent interview process that didn't take too long. You will get better at sales working as a team and develop skills using a CRM and ticketing software. Overall the tasks and goals are very organized and achievable. Some or most months the team will qualify for bonus commission. They legitimately have a superior product they're selling. A lot of colleagues have been with the company a long time and you can rely on them to do a good job. There are nice company perks like lunch, some events and overall they're very supportive. | Cons: My position was primarily a phone sales position so some aspects are by nature repetitive.

Be a team player!

Pros: The company keeps things exciting by introducing new technology for us to provide to our customers. We work as a team here so you always have the support of your peers! | Cons: We work as a team here so your quality of work is imperative to our work flow. You may have trouble acclimating if you do not follow instruction well.

Great place to work, and an awesome snack bar!

Pros: What I like most about working for SAS is that everyone is fun to be around. It feels less like work when you break up the day with laughter. Company leadership constantly looks for ways to improve the way we function as a team, and it's good to know someone always has your back. Other cool things: the hours are pretty flexible to your schedule, we get free lunch every day, and the snack bar is ridiculous! | Cons: My job in particular is varied, so I basically learn new tasks every week. That might be off-putting to some people, but for me it's a positive, and it makes the day go by quickly.

Great Company to work for!

Pros: Working for Specialty Answering Service has been a great experience for me. The owners are friendly and hands on and they buy lunch for us every day. My fellow employees are hard workers - there's no drama or backstabbing and there are no slackers on board, which is a refreshing change from previous jobs I have had. Along with that everyone is fun and has a great sense of humor, and in general there is lots of laughter in our office. | Cons: No real cons at Specialty Answering Service - sometimes we'll have a stressful day but that is the norm for any business. Not much room for growth but I knew that coming in.

Great company to work for!

Pros: They really make you feel like a family member. Specialty Answering Service pays for lunch each day (yes, every day pays for lunch for all it's employees), takes us out at least 1x a year on a great outing (like a Phillies or 76'ers game) and throws great parties! It's about the work but they make you feel like you are really a part of something great. Thank you again guys. | Cons: Really no cons here. The only downside is the the thermostat is not very consistent. If it's hot outside, it's too cold in the office. If it's cold outside, it's too hot in the office. Maybe Specialty could invest in some better zoned AC & heating systems?
