Slechte ervaring

Teleperformance is bad como any to work…

Teleperformance is bad comosny to work with; the team leaders are badly prepared to deal with persons and command them. They keep menacing people and most of them are rude! Once they tried to mark ONE absence that, was proved, didn’t happen, just for the whim of creating obstacles to receive my unemployment benefits! They also steal from me money because of, they said, á plastic shitty monitor wasn’t returned by me. The overall experience WAS BAD!!

Null

Worst work experience in 10 years

I took a sales role in TP and regret it. From hiring through training to the first weeks on the job, I couldn’t get straight answers about hours, WFH vs. office, KPIs, or bonus terms. Those details only arrived weeks later and the targets were unrealistic—almost no one I met was earning the bonus. Onboarding was chaotic, processes weren’t documented, and my team lead wasn’t available, so I spent time asking random coworkers how to do basic tasks. Pay came in lower than promised and repeated emails went unanswered; I got a generic reply only after I resigned. A friend from a different project arrived at the office to find his badge deactivated without any prior call from HR or his manager. Among roughly 20 people I spoke with across projects, only one was positive about their experience. If you still consider it, get every detail in writing before you sign. For companies thinking of outsourcing: in my experience, incentives and morale were so misaligned that a lot of activity looked like performative “busywork,” not outcomes.

A bunch of liars, swindlers, thieves and exploiters

"Hello, I hope this email finds you well. After checking with the finance department, it was confirmed that you have no amount to receive. You will receive your receipt with the details of the deductions. After you receive the invoice on October 31st, you will understand what was paid and the discounts that resulted in a negative balance, which is why there was no amount to be received. Thank you for contacting us and have a good day". This is how b@stards get rich 😂 it's what you should expect if you go and work there 😂

Diese Firma macht krank! Achtung!

If you have a chronic illness RUN from this company. They don't care about it and are openly ableist.

I only put one star because it's impossible to give it ZERO. Not only Teleperformance is OPENLY ABLEIST, this company is the most unethical, inhumane, horrible, idiotic and disgusting company in the entire world. If you want to keep your dignity, NEVER work here, I would never wish this upon my worst enemy. That's how awful this company is. To summarize: they fired me for having a chronic illness. Yep, that's right. Apparently they can do that and can get away with it, since they blatantly break the rules of the entire labour code law and only use that in their favor, as for the worker, screw them i guess. Right at the beggining of my contract, I warned the HR, my Team Leader and anyone I could possibly warn that I had a chronic illness and since I live very far from the site, it was extremely debilitating to catch 3 different public transports every single day to arrive there. I would always get there suffering from an extreme fatigue, which significantly deteorated my performance in work. I begged them to the point of losing all my dignity for them to make me work from home. My contract was hybrid so it was possible. And yet, even them being completely aware, they refused. According to the labour code in my country, the employer IS OBLIGATED to let a worker with a chronic illness to work from home NO MATTER WHAT and if the contract allows so. THEY OPENLY COMPROMISED MY HEALTH. I showed them every document possible, and yet they still refused. Not only that but they pay you horribly, and last month they didn't even pay for my vacation days, WHICH IS ILLEGAL. They never respect the schedule announcement deadline, having times where it would be the eve of next month and I still wouldn't know what my schedule was. And now, after trying so many times and actually becoming seriously sick due to the extreme stress they caused me, they ended up firing me. You should be ASHAMED, Teleperformance! This company NEEDS TO GO DOWN TO THE GROUND. Immediately. They deserve the worst in their lives. These are not human, THEY'RE MONSTERS. NEVER WORK HERE. EVER.

Its not a good place to work

Its not a good place to work. Any issue you get they just refer you to a different department. Nothing make sense and the training you get is so weird you question who makes decision. You dont have to trust me but check around the internet. At any point they can just transfer you for no reason even if you have perfect numbers.

Stay away!

I would like to begin with not even giving them one star. This company is the worst company you can work for, from the bad work conditions to the lack of empathy/professionalism from managers and so on. These kind of companies which are just here to EXPLOIT people that are trying to create a future! after one year dealing with HR,Housing,Project changes and with ZERO respect or consequences on their side. I can only say..stay away and if you want to ruin your life be my guest it will only take them a couple of months to do so. I've seen enough to see what it is doing to people. From mental health problems to drug problems and alcoholism..but they don't care because it's all about the money for them and how much they can get out off you until you finally give up, In the end your just a number! The day i resigned i felt so relieved..traumatized but relieved from this horrible company and now i can move on after wasting a year of my life. Good bye and Good luck!

Less than 1 star

Less than 1 star, definitely! As an agent for TP Portugal, I regret moving to Lisbon for this Company! They gave me the entry bonus + loyalty bonus after 9 months, and signed that I would have had to give them back to the Company if I left before 1 year from the contract signing. Not my intention. I was told that the first contract was a 1-year. Perfect. But then I found out it was a contract with an “uncertain duration.” And, what a coincidence, Teleperformance decided to terminate it one week before the year was up. That’s why my August paycheck (even though I obviously worked) was zero (yes, zero) euros, and they didn’t load the company meal card either: they were clawing back their bonuses! They planned it all carefully, these miserly people. Leaving me without money (last 3 months UNPAID) and basically out on the street as a result. Congratulations

Depleted now

As a former employee of Teleperformance Portugal, I feel it's important to share my experience for those considering working here. While some aspects might vary by project, my time there was largely characterized by high pressure, insufficient support, and a general feeling of being undervalued. What was negative: High Pressure & Unrealistic Targets: The primary focus was always on metrics and hitting targets, often at the expense of quality or employee well-being. The pressure to constantly perform was immense, leading to significant stress and burnout. Poor Management & Communication: Management often seemed disconnected from the realities of the frontline work. Communication was frequently unclear or inconsistent, and feedback, when given, was often critical rather than constructive. There was a noticeable lack of effective leadership and support for employees facing difficult customer interactions. Lack of Career Development & Stagnation: Despite promises of growth, opportunities for genuine career progression felt very limited. It often felt like a dead-end job, with little investment in employee development or upskilling. High Turnover & Low Morale: The high turnover rate was a clear indicator of deeper issues. Many colleagues felt overworked and underappreciated, leading to low morale across various teams. It was common to see new hires leave within a few weeks or months. Inadequate Training (Project Dependent): While initial training was provided, it often felt rushed or insufficient, especially for complex projects. This left many employees feeling unprepared to handle the demands of their roles effectively. Compensation & Benefits (Consider your specific situation): While entry-level salaries might be standard for the industry, they often didn't feel commensurate with the level of stress and demands of the job. Benefits were basic, with little to incentivize long-term commitment. Work-Life Balance: Achieving a healthy work-life balance was challenging due to demanding schedules, mandatory overtime (on some projects), and the mental toll of the job. Summary: My time as an employee at Teleperformance Portugal was, in a word, exhausting. I left feeling completely burned out and deeply disillusioned with the company's approach to its workforce. It became painfully clear during my tenure that while achieving corporate targets was paramount, the well-being and mental health of the employees who were working tirelessly to meet those goals were consistently overlooked. I firmly believe that true and sustainable company success should never, ever come at the direct cost of its employees' physical and psychological health. I strongly urge you to contact any person still employed in a non-manager position to validate my comments, as I'm certain it will.

Really good company nice apartment Nice…

every country has its problems. I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews about this company, they arrange beautiful apartments. Through this company I met the love of my life. You may not earn as much as you thought, but you will get a lot in return. You will learn more languages and meet new people. and life is also cheaper in portugal than in other countries. so you get by with what you earn. communication could be better if I need to know something. but it will all work out in the end. I think it is recommended for people who want to be on their own. They are patient with you during training, but of course you have to do your best. I hope to see you here too in this beautiful country

Mauvaise entreprise.

Long lasting experience in Teleperformance Portugal

I have been working in TP Portugal now for many years and I would honestly recommend this opportunity to anybody wishing to have an international experience. Anyway, I had personally many growing opportunities over the course of the years, so I am honestly satisfied with my job. Yes, there are some challenges but as in any other workplace... There are a lot of benefits and activities for the employees and the salary is on average with the Portuguese ones. Unfortunately, the salary in Portugal are generally speaking lower than many other countries in EU but this is a consideration people should do before considering to move to any other country...

Dishonest and honestly a scam

I didn't even make it to the assessment or training stages due to an extremely disappointing experience with their recruitment team (E.D, DUTCH representative). From the start, I encountered rudeness, a complete lack of professionalism, and misinformation. They misrepresented even the most basic details of the job description, which became evident after further communication. What’s even more concerning is that they continue to use your private contact information without consent. If you're considering applying here, I would advise you to proceed with caution. This was, by far, one of the most frustrating and untrustworthy recruitment experiences I've had.
