I love that I have a team of VA's available through Trusty Oak. Nitin Khanna has been a consistent, reliable resource for nearly 2 years. He handles my CRM, LinkedIn, etc... I've also had design work, web support, and specialty projects completed by TO's breadth of talent. Thank you, Nitin and the TO team!

I am thrilled to share my experience working with Trusty Oak and my virtual executive assistant, Nitin. After a very helpful onboarding and vetting EA options, I was matched with the perfect virtual EA. Since joining my team, he has increased my productivity exponentially by bringing the perfect balance of initiative and collaboration. His exceptional communication skills and ability to ‘take charge’ while asking the right questions for clarity have been invaluable. Nitin expertly manages my incredibly busy schedule, ensuring that my time is used effectively and strategically. Beyond calendar management, he is instrumental in setting up systems and databases that streamline my operations and keep everything running smoothly. His efficiency, attention to detail, and proactive approach have exceeded my expectations and allowed me to focus on what I do best. I HIGHLY recommend Nitin and Trusty Oak to anyone in need of a professional, reliable, and results-oriented assistant who can transform the way you work.

Really appreciate how Trusty Oak has helped me as a solopreneur. Tatum has been super helpful. She has taken many of the admin tasks that bore me to death and allowed me to focus on the things that are most important to me, my clients and my prospects. Thanks Trusty Oak!

Find your own clients, make more money
Pros: Flexible schedule, remote work opportunities, non-degree requiring | Cons: Chaotic management, sub-par clientele, pay is non-competitive and no benefits for contracted virtual assistants. Management expects you to act like a dedicated employee even though you're working as a fractional contracted VA. If you're looking to build a solid client base, you're better off freelancing.

Not what it seems
Pros: Made some great connections with fellow VAs and a few clients. | Cons: They sell themselves as the top VA company with ample opportunities and resources. It’s not at all what they advertise. Their vetting process for clients is poor. They’ll basically accept any client without ensuring there is a viable need for support. If the client doesn’t actually need support, the VA is left without hours and tasks to do and the company puts the blame on them rather than their vetting. I worked with a few clients that had no need for a VA but the company brought them on anyway and wasted my time. They under pay their VAs. My clients were being charged $45 an hour and I made barely $20. No consistent flow of clients for VAs to get matched with. They charge a monthly platform fee and also require a high upfront investment when you sign on, promising clients, value and hours but they don’t deliver on any of those promises. I left feeling very frustrated and disappointed.

Nitin has been an incredible support for our business as we invest in building our customer outreach through cold email, list building and email newsletters. He brings a level of organization and responsiveness that's outstanding!

One of the biggest reasons I didn't get a VA sooner was because I didn't have time to get a VA! Trusty Oak made that process so much easier over the past 18 months that I have been their client. HUGE shout out to my VA Alisha who has been a game changer for my business--she is just as conscientious and thoughtful about my business as I am, and that makes a world of difference in my professional and personal life.

Our VA, Kelsey, has provided amazing support. Not only will she do what we ask of her, she uses her creative thinking to provide us with ideas. She is a quick study and has exceeded our expectations. I give her a 10 out of 5. :)

Ok for supplemental income, tedious unpaid work
Pros: Good way to build up portfolio and network | Cons: Lots of unpaid admin, marketing, meetings, you name it, and excessive 'platform fees'

Easy place to work but pay isn't great
Pros: Easy to accrue experience doing a variety of VA tasks | Cons: No advancement, the company charges the clients twice as much as you make as a VA, and they sometimes don't get you enough clients

Trusty Oak has been an incredible support for my business! For the same # of hours I was paying one assistant to do admin tasks, Trusty Oak has provided me with a full team to handle bookkeeping, admin, customer service, graphic design, and video editing Everyone who works there is exceptionally professional, kind, organized, and held accountable by an amazing director of operations. Any time there is a change in staff, the transition is seamless, and the previous team members' SOP are documented for the replacement. Trusty Oak is a dream team for any solopreneur!

This is a wonderful and supportive place to work
Pros: Women owned and operated, amazing supportive staff, growth opportunities within the company, fully remote, perfect for working moms, access to many platforms that will help you succeed in your role, amazing company culture and community, you can work as much or as little as you want | Cons: It may take some time to be matched with the right client, if you are not tech savvy there will be a slight learning curve, if you are not self-motivated or lack time management skills-you will likely not succeed in this role.
