Efficient, easy interface, saved me from so many meetings & slack messages
Scribe completely changed the way I create and share processes. It’s intuitive, reliable, and has saved our team countless hours. We used it to onboard new hires and standardise workflows across departments what used to take hours of meetings now takes minutes with ONE email. Highly recommend it to any manager that wants to structure their teams learnings with the constant updates from management.

New user
New user - needed something to put together a user guide for a program also new to me. I expected more from Scribe. For Logo applying, only gives option to select from the company's website and the logo was blurry. An option to upload a logo should be there. It doesn't have the ability to create an index based on the step titles. No option to merge Scribes together, only to select one step at a time to collectively move them from one Scribe to another Scribe. Should have at least a select all steps of one Scribe, deselect the trash, and option to move to another Scribe and to identify where in the other Scribe to insert the steps. Rearranging steps moved from one to another is too tedious doing one step at a time. If was an option to select multiple steps and define where to place it, would be better. I may continue using it just to get the screenshots, but I'll go back to using Word and Powerpoint to do my guides.

Techy people hate SOPS too...but not w/ Scribe!
So I despise creating SOPs (even as a systems person). They are just tedious and everyone makes them differently. Scribe allows people to just hit record, do their flow, and share it to the team. No coordination. No needing to follow brand guidelines for consistency. Just the system and move on! My kind of software.

Hard to cancel account
It's not possible to cancel recurring billing- In the account settings, there is a fake link titled "Delete Account." When you click it, it says "Please reach out to support to delete your account" and provides a support email. I emailed them without on 5/28 after trialing out Scribe's platform- it's interesting, but not exactly how they make it appear on their landing page. They never emailed me back, and so I have no way to stop them from billing me other than reporting fraud. The kicker: this sort of cancellation by email requirement is literally illegal if you are a CA customer.

I've been using scribe for 2 years now…
I've been using scribe for 2 years now and I love how easy they make it to create professional looking documents. I use scribe to document new-employee facing onboarding documents that have decreased our onboarding time by about 30%. I also use scribe guides internally to train on departmental processes. We now have a small bank of guides that act as modules. This is super helpful for current employees to review and for new employees to reference in their day to day

Scribe has changed our we support users!
We’re a medium-sized nonprofit organization with a distributed team supporting staff and programs across the U.S. and Latin America. Their customer service is abhorrent
Their customer service is abhorrent. I've been trying to upgrade to the Enterprise tier for months now. The agents are very adverse to phone calls and would rather type out long emails stated what I've already read on the website instead of actually provid8ing any real support. there is no number to call. Our rep outright told me she will not speak on the phone just to send emails. And a sales rep said he would call, but it;s been hours.

Useful Process Tool
After seeing a few ads for Scribe, I decided to sign up for a free account. It is incredibly useful for creating "how to" guides for internal workflows. It has saved both money, energy and time!

Just made my first Scribe
Just made my first Scribe! It was a seamless experience and as a Realtor with a large team it helps streamline all of our documentation and simplifies our onboarding of new agents! Can't wait to continue using and creating more scribes. Possibilities are endless!

Overall rating needs to be way higher, Scribe has been a life saver for our organization.
The bad reviews don't even mention the actual tool itself, just their anecdotal fringe experiences which is a weird way to rate a software. Anyway, Scribe is fantastic. I work for state government and it has had a massive downstream effect on training and efficiency. It's easy to think Scribe is just good for saving time creating instructions but fail to look past that initial benefit and realize how much quicker and more accurate your staff will be with standardized instructional material. I describe Scribe like the first time you got a cordless vacuum and you didn't have to keep moving your plug every time you went to a new room so the whole thing takes half the time. Then, you realize you can start doing the dishes earlier! Scribe is a very shallow tool but with very wide implications that may not be readily apparent until you start using it.

Centralizing Documentation and Feeling Valued by Scribe
Before Scribe, our team was creating documentation using multiple platforms. We'd use one for capturing images, another for adding text, and then another to share the documentation. With Scribe, we have a one-stop shop where we can click through a process and capture the text all at once. Overall, Scribe has made documentation easier and much more engaging! Additionally, I have appreciate how receptive Scribe is to feedback. I used them when they were first launching, and I am amazed by the amount of features and refinement that has surfaced within this product. I am grateful that our team's voice is valued for a tool that we are paying to use - you will not find that everywhere!

TIME SAVER
I think Scribe is quite literally the best timesaver going. I've used it so much recently that I have too much time on my hands. My life before was a constant, "Kobé, help me with this tech issue..." and then I would have to come and save the day until the next person right beside them had the same issue. Now with Scribe, I solve one issue and never have to solve it again. Instead, I just get it to record in the background as I solve the issue, and then bam. A full fledged guide made ready, just like that.

Possible need for an SOP on timely communication/managing prospects?
We've been engaging with Scribe (scribehow.com) since 9th Dec with a view to explore the features available via their Enterprise offering. Unfortunately, every response seems to take an age. Scheduling a demo for the team took longer than I'd expect and no acceptance to the meeting invite was received from the Scribe BD team leading to confusion over whether they would turn up or not. Organising a trial took the best part of a week and pricing discussions still ongoing 3 months later. Their complaints process is, at best, vague and dismissive. No ownership or resolution. This is before even becoming a customer. Shame - looked a useful tool but let down by woeful communication.

Disappointing support pages and faulty free version
The free version is so limited it is pretty useless - I can screenshot better and the click target is always way off the place to click with no way to move it on the images. The help and support area is very sparse. A shame for something that champions good how to guides.

Extremely useful tool.
Scribe has been an absolute game-changer for our organization. It's incredibly user-friendly and has simplified the way we create and share guides. The print to PDF feature is a real time-saver when it comes to distributing important information. Within our small team, Scribe has seamlessly become a part of our workflow, boosting our productivity and enhancing communication. However, it's important to note that for larger companies that prioritize security and privacy, Scribe may have some limitations when it comes to sharing content across the entire organization. We've found that SharePoint integration could use some improvement, especially when sharing links within our domain. But if you're part of a smaller team and are looking for an easy-to-use solution to streamline guide creation and sharing, I can't recommend Scribe enough.

Integrated well for small companies, not great for larger ones who value security and privacy.
Brilliant at creating fast, easy and simple guides. The print to PDF option makes sharing via attachments very easy. Scribe works brilliant within a small team, but to share your scribe across your entire company isn't really something you can do. SharePoint integration is also not a strong point with not being able to share a link to members within your domain. The only way you can share with several hundred people (easily) is to create a public facing link, far from ideal if you value your privacy and security...
